It is with great sadness that i have to make this post. On December 14th, at 12.23pm, my dad peacefully went to be with the Lord, with close family and friends by his bedside to bid him farewell. Dad's been fighting the fight of his life for the last 16 months with us by his side. It's been hard on everybody, but especially him. He's gone through a lot of pain and suffering, and not once did his faith come into question. He stood firm in the Lord the entire way, on the good days and on the not so good days. In his last few hours, he knew that God was calling him to be home very soon, he wasn't awake, but he teared when we told him how much we loved him.
Mom, Elijah and I are doing ok. We're very sad, and will miss him always, but we are glad that he is no longer suffering, and in pain. Dad always looked on the brighter side of things, his cup was always half full.
Until we meet again, Love you always Dad.
