Communication

Hi Everybody,

On Monday, my dad had a Tracheostomy done. It's where they move his breathing tube from his mouth, to his neck. This has made my dad much more comfortable than having a big tube stuck in his mouth. This also makes easier to read his lips and communicate. My dad is still unable to hold a pen, or move his arms to write. We tried letting him type on a friend's ipad, but he was too weak to keep his hand up to touch the screen.

He's still stable, in fact, on Tuesday, he told the doctor that he's fighting hard, and he asked if he'll be able to be strong enough for the tube to be removed in 6 months! We told him that he'll have to fight really hard, and that we'll be fighting with him, as a family by his side.

Please continue to pray for him, that he'll get stronger.
Pray for us that we'll have strength from day to day.
Pray that he'll have patience when we cant figure out what he's trying to say.
Pray that God will bring us kind, and caring doctors and more importantly, nurses.

Thanks everybody,
God bless,
Thaddeus
The Mark Family.
